I am pretty sure that violent movies encourage the use of guns. Actually the violent contents of such as movies, games and comics etc bring the = teach violent behavior to people. Even though they don't feel like that influence = that they are influenced, they unconsciously follow those viloent = violent things. Some viloent = violent movies descibe that using gun is a kind of amazing things = as something amazing or awesome. I was told that several crimes in the USA that are related to guns were caused by those contents. Those contents are supposed to be restricted not to show to children and young people. Young people tend to be affected by those contents.
