Our country is rather tolerant about drinking.
You can easily find people who are drinking with friends, colleagues, and families at restaurant or bar in your neighborhood in Korea.
You can see women who are enjoying drinking as much as men.
And nobody cares about that.
It is said that three glasses of drinking can make strangers be friends.

But, I think there are also adverse functions which happen due to generous cultures.
We have high accident ratio on drunken driving becuuse its penalty is light comparatively.
