  In the past, gender role was classified. man was working, women did housework. but today, Participation of women in public affairs has increased. So, there is no division between men and women now. They have equal role by helping each other.

but today, Participation of women in public affairs has increased. = But today, women's participation in public affairs has increased.

So, there is no division between men and women now. They have equal roles by helping each other.
