A remote controlled car without a doubt would have to be the toy that l like as a child.

Ever since I was a little, I was eager to have a wireless remote controlled car. = Ever since I was a little, I've been eager to have a wireless remote controlled car. When I was 9 years old, my uncle bought me a remote controlled car as a birthday present. It was very expensive so I had no choice but to enjoy (it).
At that time, the toy was very expensive as well as a few friends have it. (I don't get this) So I had no choice but to get along with my close friend the toy had. (I don't understand this too) But after I receive the toy from (my) uncle, I usually went to the central park near my house and I played with it after school. I lost track of my time with the toy for a long time. =  I often lost track of time when I play with that toy.
When I was in primary school, a remote controlled car was one of the most popular toys among friends and getting the toy was lifetime ambition for a lot of children.

There are a couple of reasons why the toy is important to me.
Playing with a remote controlled car was not only something that I was looking forward to but a fun activity as well. The first time to controlling the mini electric toy car because using remote was quite difficult for me. (What do you mean by this?) However, I made an effort on controlling the toy vehicles through my dad’s detailed explanations. = However, I made an effort of controlling the toy through my dad’s detailed explanations. So I became good at it and I spent my free time on controlling the car in the park every weekend. = I became good at it and I spent my free time playing with the car in the park every weekend.
I still remember the first time I went to the central park. At that time, I was very happy and exciting time to play with it…. = At that time, I was very happy and excited to play with it.
