Do you think that the brand name is very important for sales?

Yes when it comes to buy an expensive product buying expensive products like electronic devices, a brand name affects making a decision. Brands play vital role in the decision making processes of the customer
I usually consider how much famous the product is and how many people use it, so I can get advices some advice from past users who already has have that product. I bought the samsung's tablet pc tablet by Samsung  which brand is famous brand in my country . when choosing tablet, I also considered other big brands like apple, asus Apple and Asus that are already known for people. But when I buy cheaper and daily stuff like teeth tooth brush, socks or hand cream I tend not to consider the brand name.
