  People have different views about what is the best way to educate our children for their latter lives whether teaching history in school curriculum or not. Some people believe that learning history is one of the fundamental reasons why we need to send our children to school. While others claim that there are more practical subjects than history. This essay will discuss the issue from both sides. On the other hand, there are some opinions that learning a history is wasteful in our society. First of all, the knowledge from history is obsolete and impractical to today¡¯s life compared to other subjects such as language, math and science. When it comes to the purpose of studying, most students are studying hard in order to get a securing job and high salaries but unfortunately, history is less likely to influence on one¡¯s employability rather than other factors such as computer certification. In addition, most students find memorizing all of the historical events beyond their abilities. Thus, it discourages them to learn history more. The worst situation we could face in our current situation associated with learning a history is that there are no means of checking their academic performances except in examination and no practical usage of history in our lives.
