In recent days, we can easily observe a lot of environmental problems caused by human activities. However, some people argue that environmental pollution has become too huge to be suppressed by an individual, or even a nation. Thus, it needs to be considered as an international issue. I absolutely agree with the opinion but there should be a way that individuals can take. Since human activities became excessive, we have experienced the results of what mankind had done. Therefore, both individuals and governments bear a responsibility for these negative trends. When it comes to individuals, people tend to rely on a comfortable lifestyle at the expense of devastating the environment. For example, we can see many plastic goods in our lives. People are excessively using it without the awareness of its consequences. Although governments impose a green tax on these goods in order to change the tendency of abusing the use of disposable items, it does not have a strong influence on the tendency of people. Hence, mankind should be aware of the repercussions of maintaining this lifestyle and need to change their habits in order to make a better environment for a subsequent generation by using eco-friendly goods or using mass transit instead of running own automobile.
