I will describe about a national festival in Korea. Like other countries, the first of the year is a big family event in Korea. So, I will talk about it.
On every first day, some people like to go some speciall places like high east mountain to see the first sunset, which they believe that it can give good luck to people. Then, they pray their wiches with the and wish in that mountain with a fresh mind. Then other people watch them through their on TV at home.  and heard to hear about their pravite wishes and like I hopes for the their family good health.  my famaily healthy in this year like that. Then family members gather together at on that day, and eat some speciall new year's food together like rice cake soup. Then, childrens do traditional bow with their cousins to their adults family members  relatives like grand father and uncles. Then the adults gave give them a good luck speech and some pocket money. They normally wear the traiditional costumes as well. Also, they do pray for thier dead family members older family who dies, who are considered as the family adults are important and wise in their culture. Also, they talk to each other about good news and play games to have good time together make feeling together. It's the common traditional new year event in Korea. Some family follow the Sun calendar (callander), while others follow the moon Chinese New also Year calendar for their New Year's event. People all get one more age together at that day, it also makes people think that new year day, eating rice cake soup with family is important. = All the people, get one year older on that day. It also makes peope think that eating rice cake soup with the family is important.
