Although there are some benefits on space exploration, we should not overlook the side effects of its invention. First of all, researchers should focus on the current environmental problems before focusing too much on this space race. As a matter of fact, mankind has been exposed a to the threat by of natural calamities, nowadays, such as global warming and tsunami. It is because of abusing the abusive use of natural resources and the destruction of the environment. Hence, we have to tackle current problems because there are so many places which are exploited and devastated by human activities and these results would have enormous negative repercussions on our lives. Furthermore, the cost of space exploration is extremely high. We often hear some impoverished countries’ stories on the TV. These nations are urgently needed a in urgent need of support from developed nations to save people from famine and diseases caused by polluted water, thus and we can save them with pennies. Accordingly, it would be a much better way to spend our money on facing the current problems.

For the reasons mentioned above, I strongly disagree with the opinion that investing a fund on space is beneficial. Although, it could bring additional benefits in our lives, it would not be more valuable than the life of people who are living in the same world.
