Today, I want to introduce an interesting book, of which title is = entitled “The Origin of Happiness”. If I try to summary = summarize that book into one line, it can be "happiness is not the purpose of life but the tool for survival.” According to this book, happiness is a kind of reward given when the agent = an individual does something helpful in for survival. For example, it would be important to survive for ancient humans to make and maintain a group. Thus, through evolution process, getting a well-social relationship has made humans in a good mood as a reward, as being wounded has caused some pain as a warning signal. In fact, it has a strong influence on our mood whether we can get along with our friends, family, or colleagues. A research shows when people become lonely, their body temperature starts to be (get) low and the pain of parting can be relieved by taking a Tylenol (or analgesics or painkillers). It seems that our brain treats pain of mind in as same way as pain of body. The purpose of both pains = agonies is are the signal to make us avoid something to threaten = that threatens our survival. The other way, we feels happy and relieved when we succeed to avoid that threat.

Other sentence:

It seems that our brain treats pain of mind in as same way as pain of body. = It seems that our brain treats our mental and physical sufferings. It seems that our brain treats our torments.
