Laine Hi, I'm Laine! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and I have been teaching Korean and Japanese students since 2014. I have experienced both face-to-face and online classes, and I can safely say I have taught students from all ages - the youngest would be 2 years old and the oldest are already in their 60's. With this I can easily recognize the student's strengths and areas he/she needs to improve on and adjust the lesson accordingly. Most of my students would describe me as a lively and humorous teacher, and that I'm a good listener. Aside from free talk conversations, I also specialize in grammar, writing, and other fundamentals of English. Before becoming an English teacher, I was a researcher, later on promoted as a segment producer for 3 years in a huge television station in the Philippines. I thought I was realizing my dream of being a writer back then, but with some unfortunate events which turned out to be a blessing in disguise, I landed a career in English teaching and since then I never wanted anything else. I found happiness and a great sense of fulfillment in this career. Outside work I love trying out different things and hobbies. I believe in the saying "I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret things I haven't." So in my younger years I was involved in theater, school newspaper, and cosplaying activities. I was even a member of rock band! Can you imagine that? Recently, I'm into cooking and vlogging. I can't wait to meet you all in class! Let's learn English and share some laughs :)

levi Hi! I’m Teacher Levi, an ESL teacher with 7 years of experience, and I have a bachelor’s degree in education. I’ve taught students from beginners to advanced levels, and I’m passionate about helping them improve their speaking skills and gain confidence in communication. Outside the class, I love listening to music, watching my favorite shows—especially Korean dramas—and exploring all aspects of Korean culture. Recently, I’ve also discovered a love for painting simple patterns as a way to relax and unwind. I’m all about creating fun and exciting lessons that bring energy to the class. liezel Hello everybody! I'm Teacher Liezl . I'm the eldest and the only girl in the family. I took up Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the University of Perpetual Help. My hobbies include reading, swimming, doing yoga, singing and listening to music. I am also very fond of Literature, Psychology and History. I love learning different languages and dialects, too, such as Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish. But I can say that Mandarin is the easiest one for me! I have tons of interests because I'm the kind of person who loves learning and experimenting. I have been working as an ESL Teacher since 2011. I was barely nineteen when I started teaching Korean and Chinese students. Since then I've been teaching lessons in Junior & Senior Phone English, Business English, OPIC, TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL and Job Interview. I was also once a teacher for Speaking and Writing class for man-to-man and group classes. I also taught lessons in some Academic subjects such as History, Biology and Basic Algebra. Louise Hi! My name is Louise! I earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree major in Business Management at the College of the Holy Spirit, Manila. My hobbies and interests are cooking different cuisines, traveling to other countries, watching K-drama series and spending time with my family. I have worked in a BPO industry as a Customer Service Specialist for several years. I realized that teaching is my passion. I have been an English teacher since 2013. I am very patient, hardworking and goal oriented. I have a very positive attitude and I want my students to feel comfortable when studying with me. maida Hello! I am Teacher Mai from Happy English. How do you do? I took up BA Philosophy at the University of the Philippines, one of the top universities in the country. I chose this major as a Pre-Law course in hope that I can be a lawyer someday. But teaching and imparting knowledge has always been my zeal, I knew that I should be a teacher. For me, teaching is my worthy vocation and my contribution to society I started teaching during my last year in college as I was hired as a tutor for grade school students. In 2007, right after I finished my studies, I was hired as an ESL Teacher by a company under Daekyo. I initially helped very young students get acquainted with the English language through story books. As my previous company expanded, so did our clientele. I then taught Koreans of different ages and levels from all walks of life. Being a mother to three young kids, I became very patient in teaching as I know each person is unique and has to be treated as such. And though English is not thenative language in my country, my children are all fluent English speakers. This is what I hope to achieve with you, too. MARIE Hello everyone! My name is Faith Marie, but you can call me Teacher Marie. I took up a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, but I have always had the desire to teach. I like how I am able to communicate with various students and somehow touch someone’s life in the simplest way possible. I like eating (of course, Korean food forever!!), watching movies, and Korean dramas. I am also into travelling. So, every year in my birth month, I get to travel abroad or just here in the Philippines. I am crazy about the beaches. But one of my biggest dreams is to go to South Korea. I have been teaching Korean students since 2012. I have taught students aged 5-50 years old. Therefore, I can handle beginner to advanced students. Just don’t make me do the numbers. What I love about teaching is that I am able to share my knowledge and to get to know different people. I love how they share their stories, good or bad. So, even though it’s a class it always feels like just talking to a friend, but at the same time, you are imparting knowledge to them and vice versa. See you in my class.
