I have been teaching English for almost four years now, teaching Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese students from beginners to advance. In my class, I am very particular into details. I always make sure that my student learn something before ending the lesson in an enjoyable way. I will also help you in improving your sentences, correct every mispronounce words and getting familiar with the new vocabulary words while having the confidence in speaking. So, don't talk but act, don't say but show up and don't promise but prove. Prove to me that you can also be the master of the English language. See you in my class.
jayvee
Hi everyone! My name is Jayvee. I’m from the Philippines and currently residing in Manila. I’m 31 years old, married and a mother to 2 adorable boys who happens to be twins. Yes they’re twins. I guess twinning runs in the family. Anyway, in my days off I usually stay home and spend some quality time with my boys. They love drawing, watching Disney films, eating pancakes and dancing. I try to be a hands-on mom as much as possible because kids these days grow up so quickly. For all we know, they’re grown ups already. I also enjoy traveling. It relaxes me and gives me comfort. I get to learn and experience different things; usually things that I haven’t thought of doing or trying. And I guess most Koreans can relate because you guys are well traveled. I’m also into cooking. I’m kind of adventurous when it comes to trying different cuisines. I can cook American, Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes. But my favorite is Italian food. My kids and I enjoy pasta, pizza and gelato.
Regarding my experience in teaching ESL, I’ve been doing this for eight years already. At first, I thought I wouldn’t be that engaged to the job as much as I am now because my major was totally different. I studied Information Technology which was far from teaching English, especially to foreign students. But as they say, once you’re passionate about something, you will excel on it. And I believe passion is what made me last in this kind of work. Not only that, I get to have this sense of fulfillment whenever I see my students grow and learn through my teaching. Studying English shouldn’t scare non-English speakers because I tell you this is not scary at all. You just have to put your heart in it. Focus and have fun while studying English. You can still learn and enjoy at the same time without worrying about your knowledge. And that’s what I want to impart to my students. Learning is fun. That’s why it’s called, Happy English! ^^
Jams
Hello everyone, my name is Jamille, and I am a graduate student of AB International Studies/Relations at Far Eastern University. It is a quiet unfamiliar so whenever people ask me what it is, I always tell them that it is something that has to do with political, security, economic, social and cultural. To simply put it, I mainly focused on the aspect of social and cultural, but I can adapt to different kinds of topic. In addition, I was exposed to English as a medium of instruction. After I graduated in college, I worked as an intern in a US-based non-governmental organization wherein I dealt in a cross-cultural environment thus I met a lot of people with different nationalities. Since, I am passionate about the English language, I became a journalist and wrote for my official school paper from elementary until college. I also studied in the American Institute for English Proficiency to further develop my communication skills. With the skills and experiences, I believe that I can provide you with an adequate English training, and satisfy your needs.
Back in high school, I used to tutor some of my classmates who were having a hard time with the English subject. Even in college, I’ve met my colleagues with different nationalities in my university, and taught them the communication skills that they to communicate well in English via oral or written. Recently, I’ve decided to formally teach, because I believe that it is more fun and interactive way to train and to share the knowledge of English that I have to others. Also, not only I get to teach other people, but also I get to learn from them as well. I am passionate about learning, and I believe that the best way to learn is by teaching since teaching is based on imagination and creativity.

Jade
Hi! I'm teacher Jade. I took up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English when I was in college. It is not my first choice because my ideal course is Mass Communication. I can say that being a teacher is not my first love but, it became my true love. I want to teach my students not only from the book but, from my heart. For me, teaching Koreans is like teaching Filipinos too.
Language may be a barrier for us but through English communication, we can be connected. I know it is difficult to learn English but through this company and the teachers who serve here, we can make English learning easier. Welcome to Happy English, see you in my class!
ivee
Hi, I’m Ivee. I am approachable and kind to everyone. I graduated from New Era University with Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English. At first, I’m not fond of teaching but when I finished my internship, my views about teaching changed. It’s very relaxing seeing your students smile and learn from you. I’m looking forward to share my knowledge to my students.
I enjoy learning new things because I believe that learning never stops; and learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things. I only just finished my internship at New Era Integrated School and Balara High School this year. I taught English, Reading and Research during my internship. Let’s have fun learning the English language. See you in class.
Ina1
Hi! My name is Ina. I'm 25 years old and I'm from Quezon City, Philippines. I like to think I'm very cheerful and friendly. I love music, movies, TV shows and books. I also love people. I think they're very interesting. I believe there's always something one can learn from someone so I don't really shy away from any opportunity to talk to or get to know a person. I think, this is partly the reason why I wanted to teach. For me, teaching is reciprocal. I can learn from students as much as they can learn from me. The other reason is, of course, I like sharing knowledge to people who want to learn. For me, playing a part in someone's improvement is very fulfilling.
I've been teaching for a couple of years now. I also come from a family of educators. Adding to my teaching experience is the fact that I'm a mother so everyday is a teaching experience for me. I was an assistant English teacher in another country in 2016. I've also taught English man-to-man here in the Philippines since 2017. Aside frome those, I also did some private tutoring in 2013. I'm pretty confident that I can be of help to you so I hope to be part of your journey in learning English. Thank you for listening. Have a good day!
Hannah
Hi, my name is Hannah Louise Baltazar, but that's a mouthful so just call me Hannah. I'm a graduate of Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas. I am a person of many interests. I love listening to music of any genre, and sometimes I make my own tunes. Whenever I get my hands on a book that I like, I begin reading it like there is no tomorrow, and I can spend the whole day reading if I'm left alone. I like trying my hand at cooking different countries' cuisines, and enjoy learning about their cultures too. My hobbies include writing stories and drawing. Someday I hope to make music and pursue art.
English is the first language I learned to speak in. In fact, I speak, write, and even think more in English than I do with my own mother tongue. I understand what it's like to be learning a second language, since I had to learn the Filipino language when I was in highschool. Can you imagine that? Now, I'm currently self-studying Korean, which proves difficult since I'm all alone in the process. This is why I hope I can help you learn English so that you wouldn't have to be alone in your journey to becoming fluent another language.
